About the Artist: We have had the pleasure of working with Elina over the past year.  Elina has a confident, distinctive and vibrant style of capturing the confidence and beauty in woman. Her style is a mixture of delicate line work and gentle textures; sometimes set off by calm, subtle hues, at other times juxtaposed with bold, punchy colours. She combines art, design and creative skills to develop ideas and produce original visual images for a wide range of products. These include: canvas prints, framed prints, posters, greeting cards, phone covers, tote bags, book covers and more.

Elina says, ” I am inspired by the depths and truths of human experiences, emotions, and expressions. I seek to convey these through the women I draw both to express myself, and also, to counteract the frequent one-dimensional representations of women in a lot of media.”

A fashion tote is quickly becoming a staple accessory – both practical & chic!

In recent years, the design world has seen tote bags become a great way for artists to get their work out into the big wide world. Not only are they affordable and eco-friendly, with the right design they can also be something of a fashion statement.

There are millions of great tote bag designs out there, here we’ve asked a local artist, Elina T.  to draw an image for our Luxe & Leather Collection by Madonna & Co.  She captured the essence in these awesome styles.

Which is your favorite? Our tote bags are made from soft, durable poly-poplin fabric and include a 1″ black strap for easy carrying.  All seams are double stitched for added durability.  They are printed on both sides and all drawings are from a local artist.Machine Washable Cold18*18
