As a Curly Hair Gal with a long mane, I am stopped everyday with praise, “WOW, I LOVE your hair, who does it?” As a kid I hated my frizzy mop. All my friends had silky straight hair. I tried blow drying, straightening, and even ironing it (yes, my sister had me on the ironing board a few times:) After the teenage years I started to embrace my curls. But, it wasn’t until I met Jessica Scott, (We named her the Curly Hair Master) that I absolutely LOVE my hair. She not only has the magic touch with the perfect cut & style for curly hair, she is the first stylist I have ever met that actually understands that NO two curls are the same and that even on each head of curls there are different textures! I live in NYC, so I definitely get to experience extreme weather conditions and everything in between. No matter what the season or temperature Jessica knows what to do to make all her Curly Hair clients bounce & shine!
Now for some fun! We asked The Curly Hair Master who her favorite Curly Hair Celebs were and what she would do if she got her hands on their locks.

Tracey Ellis Ross
With her big personally and statement worthy locks, Tracey’s tight curl pattern would come to life in my hands. I would coax her curls into a full head of defining existence.
How To: After hydrating the hair with our cream shampoo, I would then apply our heavenly hydration hair mask with French Argan oil to get her curls ready to rock. The styling begins and ends with our Miracle hair gel with Marula oil. While applying the gel I would take small half inch sections to smooth the cuticles down. After this is completed on the entire head then scrunching and diffusing takes place. Once curls were dried I would use a pea size of our Max Hair Gel for more hold and move throughout the head leaving curls soft and bouncy as we put the hair puzzle into place!
Denise Vasi
This beauty usually wears her hair straight. But on occasion she does rock a loose-tight curly style. Whenever I see this it puts a smile on my face. I see that she loves her curls but also loves flexibility. Which is the blessing of having curls…the curly gals have so many options!
What would I do: I would love to give her more shape and playful consistent curls. Knowing she wears her hair both straight & curly cutting must be done correctly in order to allow her this flexibility.
How To: Adding a few shorter cascading pieces to her crown would incorporate more framing details in the front sections. I would then style her tight curls more lossely using our Miracle hair gel with my curly style technique of product application. Smoothing in the products then diffusing. When dried I would fluff & leave the curls soft with movements.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Ok.. so what’s her true hair texture? The days of curls from SJP are long gone. Though I heard when styling for her TV role hot tool were in the mix. So of course I got excited as this is a fun twist. Can I have just one day of bringing those curls back, going bigger than ever?
What would I do: Encourage more curls by diffusing in our Miracle hair gel and adding some safe tricks with a 1/2 inch curling iron.
How To: Besides styling with our Miracle Hair Gel I would also use our BIG Hair Volumizing Spray. I would take a few small sections after hair was styled and dried and wrap around the curling iron for a second leaving out the very ends, then lightly letting go to cool the curls. After this is done to a few sections I would then have her shake her hair out & lightly pull out a few curls with my hair pick leaving us with slight volume and bigger bodied curls.
Meghan Markle
Once actress now soon to be princess! I know everyone loves her straight hair and I do as well BUT let’s face it, it’s all about rocking outstanding curls at times. Let’s show the Royal family that curls are majestic! I can make you embrace your curls, Meghan!
What would I do: After the necessary hydrating shampoo & conditioning I would apply our Miracle hair gel with marula oil to the entire head taking it by sections to make sure it is thoroughly penetrated.
How To:
Taking each sections of hair I would overly condition and scrunch the curls into the desired place. After curls were dried they would go through the finishing stages of adding oils leaving a bouncy & filled with life head of curls.
Thandie Newton
Always Red Carpet ready, this fashionista is exquisite but it’s the tabloid talk on her tight curly locks that are on my radar.
What would I do: Keeping it chic I first will focus on her cut. I see her best look shorter! With that flawless bone structure I want to highlight her cheekbones. I would cut a stylish trending bob, which would be perfect for her structure and overall look.
How To: By cutting and restructuring her curls into a rounded bob, around chin length. Adding facial framing and sculpting playful movements for height and body. Styling the curls with our Miracle hair gel, diffusing into place then shaking it out for tassled finished curls.
